On July 13, a team of Miller, Kistler & Campbell attorneys led by David Gaines defeated significant motions by a resident of Gregg Township seeking more than $250,000 from the Township. The individual had alleged systemic bad faith against the Township and its officers. Through multiple different hearings, the attorneys demonstrated to the Court of Common Pleas of Centre County that the allegations were baseless, and that a complete denial of the motions was the only appropriate remedy. In a major victory for the Township, the court agreed and dismissed the motions in their entirety.
