This past Friday, our firm’s sponsored pee-wee baseball team enjoyed a special, late game “under the lights.” The team is playing in a special summer league, with safety and social-distancing measures in place to address the COVID-19 pandemic. No score was kept, but in the words of David Gaines, one of our attorneys and a parent of a player on the opposing team, “The firm’s team crushed us.”
We are always happy to support and encourage the camaraderie and fitness that comes with local sports teams. Under the current circumstances, though, we are arguably prouder to sponsor the efforts of State College Little League, which is going back to basics and reminding us all how special summers in Centre County can be.
